STELARIS-IOT

The main objective of this project is the design and development of a hybrid satellite communications / 5G cellular system optimized for IoT applications, with low bit rate and low duty cycle, as is typically the case of sensors and actuators. The system allows to provide two-way connectivity to a large number of IoT devices in regions not covered by other networks, either directly through a satellite link or indirectly, creating an area with extended 5G coverage and using the satellite link as backhaul.
