WiFi analysis for ICTV service validation.

In this project, Gradiant validated the ICTV equipment of Vodafone for wireless video distribution in home networks. The engineers of Gradiant designed an exhaustive testing procedure and analytical models to evaluate the capabilities of Vodafone home multimedia solutions, involving hardware equipment (DSL router and STB) and different communication technologies (WiFi and PLC). The results included a comparative analysis with the most important market competitors in video distribution at national and international level. Empirical tests were complemented with trending studies about home multimedia distribution systems and future advancements in wireless technologies for video distribution.
