DANA by Gradiant is a computer tool developed in collaboration with Galicia Sur Biomedical Foundation which allows doctors to conduct medical interviews faster and more accurately than typing.

DANA uses AI techniques to suggest symptoms, signs and associated notes in a customized way also acting as a reminder and improving patient safety. In addition all medical interview data are saved in encrypted form allowing for the use by managers or other IT tools.

What advantages does DANA offer?

  • Patients: data collection standardization, improving safety and quality of care
  • Doctors: digital assistance during clinical interviews, avoiding repetitive type-taking of symptoms and exploratory signs
  • Managers: data exploitation derived from tool use to predict epidemics and act against variability in clinical practice improving efficiency during the medical process, reducing time spent on medical records
