Organized and managed by the European Commission, NetFutures 2017 is the most important event for the European ICT. The 2017 edition will serve as a wake-up call for policy makers and technologist alike, for civil society and the young whose future we will influence. Gradiant takes part in the event at the Industrial Internet and the rise of cross-cutting Digital Platforms workshop to discuss the opportunities and challenges of industrial platforms in selected vertical sectors, such as agriculture, healthcare and manufacturing and will explore the extent to which it could apply to other sectors of the industrial internet such as heavy equipment & machinery, transport and logistics. Luis Perez-Freire, Gradiant’s Executive Director, takes part in the panel presentations along with Rob Smeets (Philips), Juha Pankakoski (Konecranes) and Yves Gigase (ECSEL Joint Undertaking).
