Gradiant was created in 2008, as a private, non-profit foundation. The Fundación Centro Tecnolóxico de Telecomunicacións de Galicia was born with the aim of aligning university R&D with business demands, playing an essential role to generate and transfer of technological knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) to companies.
Our aim is to help industry to grow in the field of connectivity, intelligence and security.
It integrates knowledge transfer and design of specialized solutions for each company or organization, adding expertise and know-how of the center’s research professionals. Gradiant is the key tool for companies to improve, through research and solutions designed “on demand” for each partner or collaborator.
At Gradiant, we are focused on industry goal to make them more competitive and profitable in the market.
Gradiant is backed by a board that includes representatives of the three Galician universities (Vigo, Santiago and A Coruña) and seven companies from the telecommunications industry, Arteixo Telecom, Egatel, Indra, R, Telefónica, Televés; and INEO business association, which represents more than 80 per cent of ICT Galician companies.
